Service includes:
- Physical cleaning of your computer and its fans as most notebooks have poor thermal management and dust inside will cause the system to slow in order to keep temps down.
- Complete security scans (virus/trojan/injection) and uninstalls that go well beyond Anti-Virus software.
- Check and modification of Windows security and firewalls and the removal of processes that slow hardware (bloatware, updates, rogue drivers, compromised programs).
- Defragmentation and surface check of hard drives.
- Installation of open source free alternatives to MS Office or Google/Adobe programs when requested.
Tweaking of DNS/TCP, Hosts file, and internet routing to prevent phishing scams, porn, and malicious sites and hijacking from reaching you.
Repair log with photos is provided. Turn around is 3 business days or less.
Fee for diagnosis of hardware/software issues is $30. I limit repairs and modifications to $120 per Windows-based computer (plus the cost of any hardware upgrades you may wish me to install).

- Backup of entire drive, migration to faster SSD hard drive, and upgrade to max allowed system RAM.
- Installation of free and highly secure Linux Mint OS alongside your existing Windows (Dual Boot) which includes a whole suite of free open source software (word-processing, browsing, video/music editing, drawing/3D, accounting, and more).
- Set up of encrypted email (free or paid) and double-hop VPN service (also prevents DNS/WebRTC leaks) for greater anonymity and secure correspondence, and internet browsing.
